[MLCC] Shortage of MLCC due to overlapping demand from ESS and AI servers... Prices double and Murata announces discontinuations

The expansion of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and increased investment in AI servers are intensifying the supply shortage of Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC). Some domestic ESS companies are reportedly accepting MLCC prices nearly twice as high to prevent production disruptions, while Murata Manufacturing has notified customers of plans to discontinue certain items in nine of its MLCC series to stabilize supply.
