K Bank partners with startups to expand lifestyle financial services
K Bank is expanding its lifestyle-oriented financial services by partnering with various startups to offer specialized features such as public rental housing searches and AI-driven real estate auction information.
K Bank has launched the 'Browse Happy Housing' service through a partnership with Peulda on the 5th, allowing users to search for public rental housing and estimate loan costs within the bank's app. This follows previous collaborations with Transfarmer and 3o3 to provide real estate auction searches and tax refund benefits.
K Bank is expanding its lifestyle-oriented financial services by partnering with startups. Following its real estate auction information service, the bank has introduced public rental housing search functions to its app and has also collaborated in the field of tax refunds. This move aims to broaden service opportunities and enhance customer convenience by combining the expertise of startups with the bank's customer base.
On the 5th, K Bank partnered with Peulda, which operates the housing information platform 'Protect My Home', to launch 'Browse Happy Housing'. This service allows users to check recruitment notices for public rental housing, estimate housing costs, and explore loan products needed to secure funds.
K Bank and Peulda connect public rental information with financial products
Founded in 2023, Peulda is a proptech startup that helps tenants search for housing and make contract decisions. Through Protect My Home, the company analyzes risk factors for lease deposits and provides information on public rental housing that meets user conditions.
The core of the service is technology that collects, analyzes, and processes scattered real estate data. For deposit safety analysis, the company utilizes certified copies of the register, building ledgers, and housing market prices. When a user enters a house address and contract information, the service organizes and provides the legal relationships of the property and risk factors that could affect the recovery of the deposit.
In the field of public rental housing, the service aggregates recruitment notices from public institutions such as LH, SH, and GH, allowing users to search by region and housing type. It processes key information, including application qualifications, recruitment schedules, deposits, and monthly rent, to make comparison easy.
K Bank has integrated Protect My Home into its own app so that customers can view housing information, estimated housing costs, and related financial products all in one place. The intention is to increase accessibility to housing information while helping users establish the necessary funding plans for moving in.
Users can find notices that meet their criteria within the K Bank app without needing to install a separate application. They can also view floor plans and interior photos alongside recruitment schedules and application qualifications, allowing them to compare rental conditions and living environments.
Using the cost calculation feature, users can calculate the conversion amount between the deposit and monthly rent, as well as estimated interest when taking out a loan. For those looking to lower monthly rent by increasing their deposit, the tool allows them to consider the interest burden resulting from additional loans. By also providing guidance on K Bank loan products, the service reduces the inconvenience of having to search for housing information and funding methods separately.
A K Bank official stated, "We have made it convenient to view everything from Happy Housing information to financial products for securing funds," adding, "We hope this will provide practical help in the customer's housing preparation process."
From Transfarmer to 3o3... K Bank expands lifestyle services
This is not the first time K Bank has collaborated with a startup. In August, it partnered with 'Ttangjipgo Auction', an auction information platform operated by Transfarmer, to introduce 'AI Real Estate Auction Search'. This service helps customers interested in wealth management easily search for and compare complex auction and public sale information.
Users can search for auction and public sale properties such as apartments and commercial buildings nationwide and receive AI recommendations by entering desired conditions. Additionally, they can access investment analysis reports containing legal analysis, estimated bid prices, and the status of tenants and registrations for each property.
The bank also prepared benefits for customers applying for tax refunds during the comprehensive income tax filing period. After starting its national treasury payment business in May, K Bank conducted a partnership promotion with the tax refund platform 3o3. Benefits were provided to customers who applied for comprehensive income tax refunds through 3o3 and registered their K Bank account as the refund account to participate in the event. This is an example of collaboration tailored to everyday financial demands such as tax filing and receiving refunds.
A K Bank official stated, "K Bank intends to continue introducing lifestyle-oriented financial services through collaborations with startups."
